Akhilesh Yadav to contest from Karhal in Manipuri;

The Samajwadi Party (SP), which is certain of winning power in Uttar Pradesh, has confirmed that party head Akhilesh Yadav will run in the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly election from Karhal in Mainpuri. Ramgopal Yadav, the SP's national general secretary, made the statement.

Meanwhile, if the SP wins power in Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav made further pledges at a press briefing.
