Gorkha' starring Akshay Kumar, will begin filming in March 2023

A biopic titled Gorkha, based on the life of Major General Ian Cardozo, was announced by Colour Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films for release. He was the illustrious commander of the Indian Army's Gorkha regiment (5th Gorkha Rifles). Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan, who has won a National Award, will direct the picture. Finally, there is a new estimate for the project's start of construction.
Akshay will play a war hero who served in the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 as well as the battles of 1962, 1965, and most notably in 1962. According to a story in a daily, the producers hope to start filming the biopic by March 2023.

Prior to the start of filming, they aim to make the production as authentic as possible. According to the rumour, the producers aim to portray the conflict differently than it has been previously portrayed on television. In order to accurately portray the characters in the film, they are taking great care to delve deeply into the life of the military hero. The scripting has begun and will go on until March of the next year. The shoot will reportedly start in the summer of 2023, according to the producers.
Gorkha, a film directed by Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan and produced by Aanand L Rai and Himanshu Sharma, is presented by Akshay Kumar and Colour Yellow Productions in collaboration with Cape of Good Films.
