On Wednesday, the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) jawans assisted the Assam forest personnel in rescuing a python in the Udalguri district of Assam. The Bogamati Deuchunga region, close to Bhergaon, is where the python was rescued.

It was later released in the woodland area of Barnadi. The approximately 100 kilogram python was successfully rescued, according to an Udalguri district forest service member, with the assistance of SSB jawans.

The forest employees stated, "We released it in the Barnadi forest area."
