Assam Students from Dibrugarh University feared drowned in Siang River in Arunachal

While taking a bath in the Siang river at Ranaghat, in Arunachal Pradesh's Pasighat, two students from Dibrugarh University have been feared drowned. There is a report that the incident took place on Sunday. Prosiddha Handique is a PGDCA last semester student from Assam's Chiring Chapori in the Dibrugarh district while Subhodeep Paul is a BCA sixth semester student from Gohpur.

According to reports, five Dibrugarh University students went to the Siang river in Pasighat to take a bath to escape the heat. Subhodeep Paul and Prosiddha Handique, both students at Dibrugarh University, disappeared while taking a bath. Then the other three buddies began to look for them. Rescue personnel had to be called in to look for them when they were not located in the river. According to reports, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh rescue teams are conducting the search operation in the Siang river.
