Assam: Three dead, two injured in truck accident
After running over the individuals, the speeding vehicle is said to have broken the barricade on the road's shoulder.
In the early hours of Saturday morning, three individuals were run over in close proximity to Kaziranga National Park, and two more sustained injuries. Five persons were reportedly driven over by a speeding truck in the early morning hours, according to sources. While two of them are receiving medical care, three of them died from their wounds. After running over the individuals, the speeding vehicle is said to have broken the barricade on the road's shoulder.
The event happened close to the Hatikuli region of Kaziranga, according to the local police authorities. According to early police reports, a search was being conducted for further persons who might be buried beneath the coal that the truck was transporting.
"At around 5:30 in the morning, the truck was approaching on the NH 37 in Hathikuli, Kaziranga.
