Bengaluru: Drunk TTE mistreats female passenger at KJM station, suspended after video goes viral
Video goes viral of drunk TTE behaving inappropriately with a female passenger at Krishnarajapuram station

In the social media-disseminated recordings of the incident, a woman is seen yelling at the police and questioning why he pulled her over when she had a ticket. The alleged train ticket inspector shouted at her in response, claiming that it was his duty to do so. Moreover, he allegedly mistreated her.
In the footage that was posted on Twitter, the woman can be seen shouting in despair at the station when the TTE demands that she show her ticket. When other passengers learned that the female passenger had allegedly been touched improperly by the TTE, they confronted him.
As she shows him the ticket, the TTE on the opposite side can be seen answering arrogantly and ordering her to leave the station immediately.

As soon as the female passenger handed him her ticket and said that the train staff had harassed her, she burst into tears. When the TTE attempted to flee the area, the mob encircling them could be seen grabbing hold of him.
Apparently, the TTE was intoxicated, according to one of the passengers. As soon as they realized he was intoxicated, they requested that the female passenger call the police. Another TTE may be seen arriving at the scene towards the conclusion to try to settle things down.
The railway authorities took notice shortly after the video went viral and imposed harsh punishment on the TTE. The Railways ordered a case investigation while also suspending the TTE.
