Guwahati getting ready to witness a huge event as A R Rahman will perform on February 1

The Concert for Peace has been set for Saturday, February 1, in what the organizers are claiming to be the biggest musical event in the region. The event will be held at the Assam Cricket Association field, which is situated in the Sarusajai neighborhood of Guwahati. Tickets are currently available online on Book My Show and Paytm Insider, according to the statement. These tickets are reportedly priced from Rs 2000 up to Rs 150000. For the event, there are additional tickets priced at Rs. 3000, Rs. 4000, Rs. 5000, Rs. 6000, Rs. 10000, Rs. 15000, and Rs. 20000.

 While local sports fans have voiced concerns about potential ground damage as a result of the event, Debajit Lon Saikia, the joint secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India and a former secretary of the Assam Cricket Association, has stated that appropriate measures have been taken to prevent that.

There will likely be a full house for this event despite the stadium only holding 35000 people. The organizers claimed that the appropriate measures had been taken to control both traffic and crowd movement at the event. A R Rahman will arrive in the city three days prior to the event, and the setup of the equipment is expected to take roughly ten days, according to the organizers.

In addition to this musical performance, the one-day international cricket match between India and Sri Lanka will take place at the Sarusajai Cricket Stadium on January 10. The game will begin in the late afternoon and end late that night.
