During his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that India is a "big power, a friendly nation, and a tried and true friend" for Russia. "Our nations' relations are strengthening, and I am optimistic about the future," Putin said at the 21st India-Russia summit, held at Hyderabad House in Delhi.
Despite the hurdles created by the Covid-19 outbreak, Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed there has been "no change in the rate of growth of India-Russia relations" during the 21st India-Russia summit.
