India vs Scotland , India wins by 8 wickets NRR increased .

India defeated Scotland by 8 wickets (with 13.3 overs to spare) to bag their second win of the T20 World Cup and surpass New Zealand's net run-rate .

In chase of 86, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul got the side off to a blistering start as they brought up the fastest team fifty to take the side to 53/0 after 4 overs. Rohit Sharma was dismissed on 30 before KL Rahul brought up his 50 in 18 balls .

However, Suryakumar Yadav and Virat Kohli remained undeterred as they finished the proceedings. India bundled Scotland out for 85 in 17.4 overs. Earlier in the day, they started off very well in the first innings, restricting the Scots to 27/2 by the end of the Powerplay.

In the very next over, the 7th, Ravindra Jadeja picked up two wickets to leave Scotland reeling at 29/4. Jadeja bagged another, while R Ashwin also joined the party as Scotland could only reach 64/6 after 15 overs. 

Then, Shami came back to pick two more wickets in one over before Bumrah clinched his second wicket of the night to help his side bundled Scotland out very cheaply.
