LPG Domestic Cylinders Costlier From Today

Domestic Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinders that weigh 14.2 kilos are now Rs 50 more expensive from Wednesday. A household LPG cylinder will cost 1,053 in the nation's capital, Delhi.

Domestic LPG cylinders will now cost Rs. 1,052.50 in Mumbai as opposed to Rs. 1002.50 previously. Customers in Chennai will now need to pay 1068.50 to buy a 14.2 kilogramme residential LPG cylinder.

However, in Kolkata, the cost of such a cylinder has jumped from the prior price of 1,029 to 1,079.

A 5 kg residential cylinder had a similar price hike of 18 on Wednesday. A 19 kg commercial cylinder is now 8.50 less expensive.

However on the contrary, for each 19-kg cylinder, the cost of commercial LPG refills has decreased by more than 180 Rs effective from July 1.
