Ardent to continue with the hunger strike says

Even as the Voice of the People Party's president, Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit, entered the second day of his indefinite hunger strike on Wednesday, the state administration has yet to reply to the party's demand that it examine the state reservation policy.
Basaiawmoit stated, "Until I hear back positively from the government, I won't call it off."
According to him, the party determined it would be more practical to move the demonstration to a parking lot next to the additional secretariat. "We'll hold off until the administration replies to our demand. The government's steadfastness will be tested for how long, the VPP president stated.
According to Heaving Stone Kharpran, a Mawryngkneng MLA for the VPP, the group is supporting the party leader on a moral level. We haven't decided to participate in the hunger strike yet, he continued.
