Meghalaya: CM announces Rs 1 crore immediate relief for KJP Girl's H/S School

Conrad K. Sangma, the chief minister, pledged the government's complete support and said on Sunday that he would immediately disburse Rs 1 crore from the CM's Special Development Fund to the school managing committee of KJP Girls' Higher Secondary School.
"We will collaborate to determine how to set aside the required funds to make sure that the school is restored to its prior condition following the computation of all estimations, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma and Cabinet Minister A L Hek paid a visit to the school on Sunday.

Following the transfer of funds to the school managing committee, according to Sangma, the work will begin immediately.
"We'll need to find out if they prefer the current design or want to change it. I am not in a position to make that decision," he stated. He recounted how the school had changed countless lives, stating that it is a big loss for the students, school, church, and the community as a whole.
