Meghalaya CM, Conrad K. Sangma, virtually inaugurates 50 upgraded schools

Conrad K. Sangma, the chief minister of Meghalaya, effectively opened 50 lower and upper elementary schools that had recently been upgraded with contemporary amenities as part of his administration's infrastructure improvement programme. Each of these updated schools has a library, suitable furnishings, common areas, and functional restrooms, among other amenities. At the time, Sangma stated that other schools would be included to the rehabilitation and modernization initiative in stages.

Additionally, he stated that the project will benefit the entire educational system. "Untold numbers of schools are in need of upgrades. They will be addressed gradually by us. Additionally, the initiative will be made available to secondary and higher education institutions "announced the CM on Thursday. He promised that over the next three months, another 100 renovated schools will be prepared for opening. Sangma referred to the education ministry's NIPUN Bharat Mission (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy), saying the initiative will significantly enhance kids' general cognitive ability.
