"Meghalaya's people don't need big grounds to meet Modi, they have already given me place in their hearts": PM

Prior to the impending Assembly elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi organized a significant roadshow in Meghalaya, a state that is close to going to the polls. The Prime Minister waved to the throng as a sea of people poured out onto both sides of the street of Shillong to welcome him. Later on today, he addressed at a large gathering in Tura.

While speaking to the crowd in Tura, he expressed gratitude to everyone who had come to meet him despite all obstacles and difficulties, saying that he was privileged to have so many people come to bless him. He claimed that many people resent the rise of Modi and the BJP party. They're having bad dreams. He attacked the current administration, adding that "some even tried to put a stop to his rally by not allowing the use of the ground for the event, but Meghalaya's people do not need big grounds to meet Modi, Meghalaya's people have already given Modi place in their hearts." he added.

He continued by saying, "Meghalaya wants BJP government," which is what he can observe in that state.

"In Meghalaya, the BJP government will stand for a corruption-free environment. The BJP government in Meghalaya will  support all religions and provides housing, electricity, and water to the underprivileged. In Meghalaya, the BJP will imply greater gender equality and better employment opportunities for young people "The PM stated.
