MP: Ragging In Government Medical College Leads 7 Senior Students Suspended

VIRAL VIDEO: Ragging video in Madhya Pradesh government medical college of Ratlam district, has surfaced on 30 July Saturday. The video taken secretly shows ragging of junior students taking place in a corridor, lining them up and slapping each one of them.

As per the reports from several news outlets, seven of the senior medical students were academically suspended for 3-6 months and removed from the hostel perpetually for their unacceptable actions. And also urged police action against the saas even senior students.

Ragging is punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, and shall also be liable to a fine which may extend to Rs. 10,000 under section 4 of the Act.
