Mumbai Police Issue Circular Against Indian Students Abroad After Salman Khan Death Threat
A lookout notice (LOC) was published by Mumbai police on Tuesday for an Indian medical student who is suspected of sending emails with threats to kill Salman Khan, a well-known Bollywood actor. Due to security concerns, sources claim that Mumbai Police has not yet released the accused's identity. The pupil is a third-year medical student.
The officials also believe the email with the death threat was intended as a joke. According to the authorities, the email had ties to gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldie Brar. However, the alleged pupil was using the mobster Goldy Brar's name when sending emails.
Salman has received similar threats before, thus the Mumbai Police gave him Y+ category protection because this is not the first time he has received them. Salman Khan, however, highlighted in a recent interview how he now has to be more cautious and finds it difficult to go outside or move around freely.
