Pakistan Denies Claims Linking Murder Of A Hindu Tailor Person In Udaipur

In a tragic event on Tuesday, a tailor was hacked to death in his shop on a busy street in Udaipur while it was still up for business because he had backed now-suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma on social media for her divisive remarks about the Prophet. The two people accused of being engaged in the murder were detained; it was said that they had ties to Pakistan and had gone there for training.

Pakistan has, however, denied claims made by Indian media that Islamabad was somehow involved in the murder of a Hindu tailor in the city of Udaipur.

According to Samaa TV, the Foreign Office (FO) in this country released a statement in reaction to information about the murder inquiry that was revealed in a section of Indian media.

“We have seen reports in a segment of the Indian media referring to investigations into the murder case in Udaipur, mischievously seeking to link the accused individuals, Indian nationals, to an organization in Pakistan,” the FO was quoted as saying.

The FO was cited as stating, "We have observed reports in a section of the Indian media relating to investigations into the murder case in Udaipur, mischievously seeking to link the accused individuals, who are Indian citizens, to a group in Pakistan." "We completely deny any such insinuations, which are typical of the attempts by the BJP-RSS-led Indian dictatorship to defame Pakistan, particularly by externalising their own problems through blaming Pakistan. Such malicious attempts, whether made in India or overseas, will not be successful in deceiving the public.
