R.I.P: Singer KK’s funeral will take place in Mumbai’s Versova Hindu Cemetery
The body of singer KK ( Krishnakumar Kunnath) arrived in Mumbai on Wednesday night. The funeral service will take place in Mumbai’s Versova Hindu Cemetery at 1 PM.
The preliminary conclusions of the post-mortem conducted after the singer’s death revealed that he died of a cardiac arrest. KK’s corpse was taken to Kolkata’s SSKM hospital for a post-mortem on Wednesday.
According to the news sources, KK fell ill while performing at Nazrul Mancha, Kolkata, for Gurudas College’s fest. He returned to his hotel in Esplanade and collapsed after which he was rushed to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) at around 10:30 pm, where he was declared dead.
He was 53-years-old and to die under such circumstances left shocked the entire Bollywood industry as well as his fans, family, and close friends. Condolences have been pouring in from the film and music industry. As his family’s expectation his mortal remains back in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. The ace musician is survived by his wife and two kids. Many celebrities, were arriving at his residence in Mumbai to pay their last respect, early this morning.
