The Moscow-Goa Azur Air flight was diverted to Uzbekistan following an apparent bomb threat

Following a bomb threat in the early hours of Saturday, a chartered flight from the Russian capital Moscow to Goa with 240 passengers on board was diverted to Uzbekistan, according to police.
According to a senior police official, the flight was scheduled to land at the Dabolim airport in South Goa around 4.15 am. According to reports, the Azur Air flight (AZV2463) was diverted before it entered Indian airspace.
The officer explained that the flight was diverted when the Dabolim airport director received an email at 2:30 am that indicated a bomb being installed on the aircraft.
The event happened over two weeks after an emergency landing at Jamnagar airport in Gujarat due to a bomb threat on an aircraft from Moscow to Goa.
