Send picture, get Rs.500': Gadkari's new law to curb wrongly parked vehicle
Nitin Gadkari, India's Union Transport Minister, made a major announcement to address the problem of illegal parking. Gadkari has stated that he is considering legislation that will reward someone who sends a photo of a vehicle that is improperly parked. If the violator is punished Rs. 1000, Gadkari stated the person who sends a photo of incorrect parking will receive Rs. 500. Gadkari made the statement after explaining why improper parking is such a serious problem in India.
The measure, according to the union minister, will help to reduce the parking problem.
"I'm planning to propose a law that gives a Rs500 reward to everyone who sends photos of an incorrectly parked vehicle if the perpetrator is fined Rs1,000." "This will aid in the solution of the parking problem," Gadkari stated at the launch of the "Industrial Decarbonization Summit 2022 (IDS-2022)" in Delhi.
