Five persons have been arrested in connection with the Police Bazar assault on cab drivers.
In relation to the assault that happened on Thursday night, five people have been detained by the East Khasi Hills District Police with assistance from the Guwahati City Police from Guwahati in connection with the assault of two taxi drivers in Police Bazar in Shillong city by a group of miscreants, police announced late evening today.
The two assaulted victims were transferred to Civil Hospital Shillong for medical attention after suffering injuries.
