SpiceJet clears all dues with Airports Authority of India

SpiceJet, a low-cost airline, and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) have reached a complete and final settlement in which SpiceJet has paid the airport operator's whole primary debt. As a result, SpiceJet will return to using an advance payment system for all daily flight operations at AAI-managed airports across the nation.

The airline's representative claims that SpiceJet's ability to pay the outstanding debts is a result of the airline's increased cash flow in recent years.

"AAI will release SpiceJet's Rs 50 crore bank guarantee when the carrier pays off all of its primary debts, which is another significant success for the company. The airline will benefit from more liquidity as a result of this "the airline stated.
