Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave the Indian people five resolutions as the country entered the "amrit kaal," saying that we must struggle to create a "viksit bharat" (developed India).

He went on to say that we needed to get rid of all signs of colonialism, protect our culture, and defend diversity while maintaining togetherness.
