Student taken from exam, kidnapped, gang-raped in K'taka
In a startling event, authorities in this Karnataka district reported on Saturday that a college student had been abducted and subjected to gang rape.
A search for the accused has been initiated by the police after the victim, a B.Com student, lodged a complaint against four individuals with Ballary Woman's Police Station. While the woman was completing her exam, one of the accused—who claimed to be her brother—called her out of the room.
After that, they threw her into a car and drove her to a hotel room in the Koppal district's Sanapura. She was made to consume beer that was tainted with drugs there. The accused sexually assaulted the woman while she was unconscious.
Upon regaining consciousness, the survivor reported Naveen, Saqeeb, Tanu, and an other individual to authorities. Every accused person resides in Ballary's Kaul Bazar. (IANS)
