In yet another heart-pounding thriller in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Adelaide, Team India defeated Bangladesh by five runs. Shakib Al Hasan's team had the lead in their pursuit of 185 as the rain-shortened contest came down to the wire.

Once the rain stopped the play, everything, however, altered. Bangladesh just needed 151 runs when the competition was cut to 16 overs due to the rain, which was thankfully stopped. However, the game shifted when KL Rahul hit a direct hit from 34 metres away.

After he removed the threat Das, wickets started to fall one after the other.
Virat Kohli (64 not out off 44) and KL Rahul (50 off 32) helped India post an impressive total of 184 for 6, but they failed to prepare for Litton Das, who was poised to strike (60 off 27 balls).
After a brief rainstorm, Bangladesh's revised aim of 151 in 16 overs was needed, but they ultimately reached 145/6. India, who now has six points after four games, must defeat Zimbabwe in their final Super-12 encounter to guarantee a spot in the last four.
