Team India Captain Rohit Sharma Tested Covid-19 Positive: BCCI
Rohit Sharma, an Indian cricket batter who was participating in India's current four-day exhibition match against Leicestershire, has been quarantined. "Following a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) performed on Saturday, #TeamIndia Captain Rohit Sharma has tested positive for COVID-19. He is currently being looked after by the BCCI Medical Team in isolation at the team hotel "Twitter was used by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Rohit is expected to captain the squad against England in the fifth Test match that will finally commence on July 1 at Edgbaston, awaiting recovery. India is up 2-1 in the series.
