The state of Assam's government will introduce 16 new ITIs

Recently, the Assam government announced plans to construct 16 new Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) throughout the state. They have determined that there needs to be one ITI in each state block. The Department of Technical Entrepreneurship Development is given significant significance by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The state government has also launched a number of skill-development initiatives. Jayanta Malla Baruah, the state's minister of skill development and employment, made this statement at the opening of the Advanced Electrical and Solar Training Center at the Jorhat Industrial Training Institute.

The state government has budgeted Rs 300 crore for infrastructure development so that ITIs may be created and outdated equipment can be replaced, the minister said while speaking at the Jorhat ITI's opening event. The Minister added that because these ITIs are home to the future of Assam's new generation, it is being considered to offer skill education in every Assamese block.
