Two bodies discovered after Army chopper crashes in Arunachal Pradesh Today

Two bodies were reportedly discovered during extensive search efforts on Friday, hours after an Army helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh. On Friday morning, the accident was recorded in a very rural part of the Upper Siang district. A pilot from the Indian Army was killed in a helicopter crash just weeks before to the catastrophe.

When the jet impacted the ground, smoke could be seen rising off it in a video posted by union minister Kiren Rijiju. It was an Advanced Light Combat Helicopter that had crashed. In response to the incident, Arunachal Pradesh's Chief Minister Pema Khandu posted on Twitter: "Shocked to learn about the news of @adgpi. Advanced Light Combat Helicopter crash near Tuting area."

He added, "The state administration has dispatched the rescue team to the accident site and is offering all support."
