Since getting married, the couple has been learning about the complexities of having biological children. Before deciding which partner would be a part of their family's growth, the couple had to educate themselves on the distinctions between gestational carriers, egg donors, and surrogates.
They also found out that their expenses were higher than those for heterosexual couples. Before they could confirm the wonderful news, they had to go through four cycles of in vitro fertilization (IVF) after finding the egg donor.

A new addition to the family was recently welcomed, as the happy couple recently announced. A portion of the ultrasound photographs of Shah and Madiraju's unborn child were shared on Instagram.
Never in our wildest dreams would we have imagined that a chance encounter at a birthday celebration six years ago would lead to the discovery of our lifelong soulmate and give us the strength to face the challenges of the outside world. We're preparing to become parents right now! To welcome our newest addition in May 2023, we are beyond thrilled.
