The use of tobacco can be seen growing fast every year also impacting environment.
Every year WHO [World Health Organization] observes World No-Tobacco Day on May 31 it was formed in 1987 to raise awareness to stop consuming tobacco.
Consuming tobacco not only damaged human life but also damaged the environment. According to the report, each year people were diagnosed with consuming tobacco, and most of the people 80 to 90 percent who consumed tobacco smoking can be caused by lung cancer.
The World Health Organization also selected the Jharkhand government for the World No Tobacco Day WNTD award 2022 for their efforts in educating health implications of consuming tobacco.
On world no tobacco day occasion WHO also agreed with a relevant theme of “Protect The Environment”
