5 countries stepping up conservation, on International Mother Earth Day Special.

We all know that International Mother Earth Day has celebrated on 22 April, to shed light on Environmental issues and acted upon protecting and conserving of forests across all over the countries.

On this very special day the 5 countries like Armenia, Cambodia, Somalia, Honduras and Kenya were set to increase the forestation in their countries by the support of UN and through its Climate Promise. Armenia pledged to increase forest cover to 12.9% of its territory by 2030. Where in Cambodia set the ambitious goal to halve the deforestation rate by 2030. And in Somalia aims to restore degraded forests, mangroves and rangelands. Meanwhile in Honduras committed to a 30% increase in forest areas to to be restored by 2030. Kenya has set a national target of 10% of its land covered by forest by 2030..

Most recently Sir David Attenborough has received the title of ” A Champion of the Earth” ,by the UN because of his dedication toward the loving of mother nature and inspired many people cross the country. Likewise we can make the Heathy Earth as well as make better future for the up coming generation.
