On Tuesday night the plane came down to the private field and crash on Simsbury resident’s greenhouse by the non-profit Simsbury Flying Club.
The incident occurred Tuesday night when the plane came down to the clipped of a fence and then crashed into a greenhouse in a nearby private field right at the end of the airport.
The owner went to their field and found the plane has been down an hour earlier. They found another person from another plane picked up the operator of the crashed plane and took them home but the person did not report the incident.
The call for first responders went out around 8:45 p.m. The Simsbury Fire Department reports that no one was injured when the plane went off the runway.
Simsbury Airport is a non-towered public-use airport, maintained and operated by the non-profit Simsbury Flying Club, according to its website.
The Fire Department in Chief says no one was injured in the crash. And to escape from the situation he did not report the crash.
“No injuries, everybody’s fine we’ve had discovered who the owner of the plane is, and he is perfectly ok and, unfortunately, he just didn’t report the fact of that happen.” In the further statement he said ” You fear for the worst, unfortunately, this is one of the situations, the best outcome you’ve passed gets out” told the Fox 16 reported.
