At least 40 brave Afghan women protest in Kabul on Saturday morning August 13, demanding their rights around the first anniversary of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Taliban opened fire to disperse the relatively small crowd.
The women came to the street of Kabul to protest for their rights to food, work and freedom. However, the Taliban opened fire during the Afghan women’s protest. The Taliban Government says it is determined to give women’s rights according to “Islamic Laws.”
The chanting for freedom, work and food was forcefully stopped on the way by the Taliban armies on the street, despite fear, and terror by the Taliban, the courageous women repeated their demands and chanted, “I’m not afraid” Their slogan is “bread, work, freedom”. ” We women are awake. We are tired of discrimination. We stay and we will build.”
The want of work, education, food and freedom protests by several women said that the Taliban surrounded the protesting women and took away their mobile phones, after the Taliban fighters fire in the air to disperse women’s protest.
