U.S House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul Pelosi has been charged with allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, late Saturday night.
He has been arrested late at night in Nepa County, California around 11:44 p.m. on Saturday, and was charged with driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher as well as driving under the influence of alcohol.
An 82-year-old old Paul was booked into jail at 04:13 a.m. on Sunday, and released at 7:26 a.m. as to the reports revealed by Napa County records. The records disclose his bail was set at $5,000.
Nancy, on the other hand, avoids commenting on the issue as she was on the East Coast while the incident occurred and discloses the matter citing “private matter”.
“The Speaker will not be commenting on this private matter which occurred while she was on the East Coast,” the spokesperson said.
