The special NDPS court today rejected Shah Rukh Khan’s 23-year-old son Aryan bail. The bail applications of two other defendants, who were detained alongside Aryan in the Mumbai cruise ship drugs bust case, were also denied.
Amit Desai, his lawyer, informed reporters outside the court that they are now planning to appeal to the Bombay High Court. “We haven’t been notified why our bail request was denied,” he said.
“First, we must read the order… I haven’t received the order yet. “Once we obtain the order, we’ll move the Bombay HC,” Desai added.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has supposedly presented communications between Aryan and an upcoming Bollywood starlet discussing drugs during the Mumbai cruise party, leading to the conclusion that the bail plea may have been rejected. According to reports, Khan’s conversations with drug dealers were also provided over to the court.
