On a Sunday flight operated by IndiGo from Chennai to Guwahati, an Assam passenger mysteriously died in midflight. The dead, a Bongaigaon native named Haider Ali, was identified. According to sources, the incident happened on flight number 6006, which was departing from Chennai and arriving in Guwahati at 7:20 p.m. at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport.
Authorities at IndiGo are allegedly attempting to conceal the situation while less public uproar exists. The cause of the passenger’s death was not immediately apparent.
