Lalisa manoban from K-pop girl group BLACKPINK has made history in the VMA 2022 beating the members of BTS, ITZY Seventeen and more. She bagged Best K-pop at the MTV Video Music Awards 2022 for her song Lalisa. She became the first Soloist from K-pop to win the VMA’s.
The award ceremony was attended by popular celebrities such as Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Lil Nas X, Lizzo , BLACKPINK among others. Blink’s went gaga when lalisa manoban won the award and even crazier when Taylor Swift cheered for the blackpink member. Swift even encouraged others to cheer for Lisa.
In her acceptance speech Lisa Manoban Thanked all her Bandmates: Jisso, Jennie and Rose and end it with an ‘I love you!’ The K-pop band BLACKPINK also won Metaverse performance of the Year, which is a new category in VMA’s 2022. The other K-Pop bands nominated were BTS for Yet To Come, Itzy for Loco, Seventeen for ‘Hot’, Stray Kids with Maniac and Twice for ‘The Feels’.
BLACKPINK made their red carpet appearance in VMA’s with black outffits and looking stunning as always.
