Following a police search at mobster Kanhaiya Yadav’s home in Uttar Pradesh’s Chandauli area, protests ensued. A police officer allegedly assaulted the young woman Nisha, according to the crowd.
“Nisha Yadav, Kanhaiya Yadav’s daughter, was discovered dead in her home. After being thrashed by the SHO of the Saiyyedraja police station, the victim died “Sanjeev Singh, the Varanasi district magistrate, stated.
The gangster’s younger daughter was also allegedly thrashed and had serious injuries. The DM went on to say that she is currently undergoing therapy.
“The SHO has been suspended, and we are working on filing an FIR after receiving a complaint from the deceased’s relatives,” he added.
“A woman died in a video that went viral. The house of suspect Kanhaiya Yadav was searched, but he was not discovered. We’re looking into it; it appears to be a suicide, and we’re waiting for a post-mortem report. “Enough cops have been deployed,” said Chandauli SP Ankur Agarwal to ANI.
Local villagers around Kanhaiya Yadav’s home have staged protests against police officers as a result of the incident. Leaders and workers from the Samajwadi Party have also arrived and joined the protest.
