For the Republic Day celebrations, the Indian Air Force (IAF) displayed the biggest number of aircraft in a grand flypast.
To mark the 75th anniversary of independence, the flypast will conclude with seven Jaguar fighter aircraft flying in the “Amrit” configuration.
This year’s flypast is the greatest and largest yet, with 75 aircraft from the Indian Air Force, Army, and Navy taking to the skies during the Republic Day parade. The flypast included Tangail formation, which consists of one Dakota and two Dornier flying in Vic configuration, as part of the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebrations. This is a homage to the 1971 War’s Tangail airdrop missions. A Meghna formation of one Chinook and four Mi-17s was there as well.
The flypast began with four Mi-17 aircraft in the “Dhwaj” formation, followed by four and five Advanced Light Helicopters (ALH) in the “Rudra” and “Rahat” formations, respectively.
Rafale, Indian Navy’s MiG29K, P-8I observation aircraft, and Jaguar fighter jets were among the other aircraft on show at the parade.
It gave everyone viewing the breathtaking air display shivers, and it is worth watching for everyone’s eyes.
