On Tuesday, the Indian Railways announced that 107 trains had been cancelled due to different operational and maintenance concerns. According to a recent notice posted on the IRCTC website, 31 trains have been moderately cancelled due to maintenance-related concerns. Trains that leave from different Indian cities on August 23—including Nagpur, Bokaro Steel City, Jawlmukhi, Pune, Azimganj, Wardha, etc.—are included on the list of cancelled trains.

The derailment, natural roots, and other maintenance and operating circumstances were cited as reasons why the Indian Railways decided to modify the itineraries of over 21 trains that were scheduled to depart today.
