Justin Bieber the 28-year-old singer has revealed that he has been diagnosed with a rare disorder that paralyzes half of his face and has therefore had to postpone his tour until he feels better. His condition was discussed in a video he shared on Instagram on Friday. Justin shared the video after he cancelled his shows in Toronto and Washington, D.C. Justin demonstrated that he could barely move one side of his face, calling the illness “pretty serious.” He captioned the post, “IMPORTANT PLEASE WATCH. I love you guys and keep me in your prayers.”
“For people who are frustrated by my cancellations of the following shows, I’m just physically not capable of doing them,” he stated in the video, adding, “My body is telling me I need to slow down.” “I hope you understand,” he says.
He said, “One of my eyes isn’t blinking,” as he demonstrated one of his eyes that wasn’t blinking “This side of my face is unable to smile. This nostril isn’t going anywhere. On this side of my face, I’m completely paralyzed.”
Justin stated he doesn’t know how long it will take him to recover. He did say, though, that he has been practicing facial exercises and is optimistic about making a full recovery through rest and therapy. “I’m going to use this time to simply rest and relax and get back to 100% so I can do what I was born to do,” he stated.
