Moose Wala’s death: 2 men linked to gangster Bishnoi arrested in Haryana

Sources said two men related to criminal Lawrence Bishnoi have been arrested in Fatehabad, Haryana, as part of an investigation into the murder of Punjab singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala.

The Delhi Police have also questioned Bishnoi about the incident, which has caused shockwaves not just in India but also in Canada, where Moose Wala was a student. The detained guys — Pawan Bishnoi and Naseeb, according to sources — have ties to the Bishnoi gang, which has claimed responsibility for the incident. They were arrested, however, in a separate case filed against them in the Moga district.

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, also known as Sidhu Moose Wala, was shot and killed near his home on Sunday evening while driving his vehicle. According to the Punjab Police, two gangsters have claimed responsibility for the killing: Lawrence Bishnoi, who is presently imprisoned in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, and Canada-based singer-gangster Goldy Brar.

Goldy Brar, a close aide of gang leader Lawrence Bishnoi, is also suspected of being implicated in the singer’s death. Satinder Singh, nicknamed Brar, is a suspect in a number of felony cases. The Punjab Police made its first arrest on Tuesday in Punjab’s Mansa village. Manpreet Bhau, a Dhaipe village inhabitant, is currently being held in police custody for five days. According to police, Bhau assisted the killers with logistics, including organizing two of the crime’s vehicles.
