Salman Khan, a well-known actor in Bollywood, has received a guns permit after applying for one to protect himself after receiving recent threat letters. Salman met with Mumbai police chief Vivek Phansalkar to discuss the threat letter to him and his father after receiving a murder threat from the group of mobster Lawrence Bishnoi.
Prior to issuing the handgun licence, Salman’s background and criminal history were investigated. The police headquarters cleared his file only after following routine procedure steps.
Following his application for a handgun licence for self-defense following recent threat letters, actor Salman Khan was granted an arms licence, according to an official statement from the Mumbai Police.
