The National Sports Awards nomination date for 2022 has been extended by the sports ministry

For the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Awards, Arjuna Award, Droncharya Award, Dhyan Chand Award, Rashtriya Khel Protsahan Purskar (RKPP), and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (MAKA) Trophy for the year 2022, the ministry welcomed applications in August.
The deadline for submitting applications for National Sports Awards has been moved up from 27 September to 1 October 2022 by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

“For the award, applications from qualified athletes, coaches, organisations, and colleges are invited. They must submit a self-application online using a specific gateway. Additionally informed in this regard are the Indian Olympics Association, the Sports Authority of India, recognised national sports federations, sports promotion boards, and state and UT governments. Nominations received after October 1, 2022, won’t be taken into consideration, according to a statement released by the ministry on Wednesday.
