Pakistan accepts body of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist via LoC in Poonch

The body of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Tabarak Hussain was delivered to Pakistan on Monday via Chakan Da Bagh on the Line of Control in the Poonch area.

A senior official reported that “officials of the Indian Army and civil administration transported the body of deceased terrorist to Chakan Da Bagh and handed it over to Pakistani army officials.”
On August 21, the army apprehended Tabarak Hussain, the injured son of Mistri Malik of Sabzkote in Rajouri, in the Jhanger region of the Nowshera sector.

When Tabarak allegedly infiltrated with a fidayeen terror organisation to target Indian army posts on the Line of Control, he was apprehended.

However, when Indian army soldiers saw the activity, they opened fire on the invading terrorist group, injuring Tabarak while other infiltrators fled to PoK.

At a garrison hospital in Rajouri, Indian Army soldiers donated three bottles of blood to treat Tabarak.

He was under treatment for two weeks before he died of cardiac arrest on Sunday evening. A post-mortem was conducted at a hospital in Surankote.

The officials stated, “On Monday, we also handed over all the paperwork, including post-mortem findings and evidences of his involvement in the infiltration attempt at Jhanger, to Pakistani officials.”
