A security officer was spotted striking a pregnant woman in Karachi, Pakistan, in a heinous incident that sparked anger. According to local media, he has now been detained.
According to Geo News in Pakistan, the guard allegedly beat up the woman outside an apartment complex in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar region. A CCTV camera video, which was published on social media, shows the security guard disagreeing with the woman before slapping her. The man kicked the woman in the face as she fell to the ground and attempted to get up.
According to the Geo News report, the woman who works as a domestic helper at Noman Grand City in Gulistan-e-Jauhar is pregnant. According to her, she had asked her son to deliver her supper on August 5 at 3 a.m. When her son attempted to enter the flat, the union’s office bearers — Abdul Nasir, Adil Khan, and Mahmood Khalil — barred him from doing so.
“When I came down to investigate, Adil became enraged and began assaulting me.” He then instructed the security guard to beat me. I’m 5 to 6 months pregnant. “I went unconscious because of the pain when he hit me,” she was reported as saying.
The police have opened an investigation and put the security guard into custody.
