Angry mod attack Police station in Karnataka Hubballi over social media post in early today,12
policemen including officers were injured in the incident. Resident pelted stones resulting
damaged of police vehicles and other buildings in old Hubballi town.
Trouble erupted when a man uploaded an “objectionable” post on social media, after which complain was lodge. While the accused was held, people were not satisfied with the police action and outside the police station they gathered and started pelting stones on cops and their vehicles which left the
vehicles complete damaged. In the stone pelting police arrested 40 people.
Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai has term the incident an “organized attack,
whoever takes law into their hands, our police won’t hesitate to act against them”. It was not yet
disclosed what actually was the post the man had posted which leads to such a massive chaos
in the town and mod attacked on police fearlessly.
