Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the benefits of the PM-CARES scheme for the children, in his Monday speech where he motivated scientists, doctors, and youth who lost their families in the Covid-19, announcing that India trusted them as they provided rays of hope, and dedicated to their work without worrying to the world and India became the solution giver instead of making the problem during the pandemic.
“We trusted our scientists, doctors, our youth. And, we came out as a ray of hope, not a worry for the world. We did not become the problem, but we became the solution giver,” in his speech.
During the program PM Modi handed over the passbook of PM CARES for Children, and a Health card under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana to children during the program, and transferred scholarships to school-going children.
He said in that atmosphere of negativity during the pandemic, India relied on its strength.
He speaks about children who were orphaned due to COVID-19, the PM-CARES for Children is a reflection of the fact that every citizen is living with them. PM-CARES schemes will provide education loans for professional courses, for higher education, if needed. PM-CARES fund also helped a lot in preparing hospitals, buying ventilators, and setting up oxygen plants during the Corona period.
He told the amount of ₹ 4000 would be given every month to these children which would help with their daily needs.
PM Modi over the vaccination to the Indian which has taken over 200 crore vaccine doses administered in the country.
“We took vaccines to our citizens; about 200 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country,” he added.
He further said the heights that India has achieved today are of the youth power that leading the journey of India.
“Today, India’s pride has increased in the world, our India’s power has increased in the global forums. And I am glad that youth power is leading this journey of India,” he added.
