Jaishankar condemns the statement by Rahul Gandhi on Indian diplomats

“Yes, the Indian Foreign Service has changed. Yes, they follow the orders of the Government. Yes, they counter the arguments of others. No, it’s not called Arrogance. It is called Confidence. And it is called defending National Interest,” said Jaishankar, a former IFS (Indian Foreign Service) officer who served as the foreign secretary from 2015 to 2018.

Rahul Gandhi then on saying in his speech, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has control over media, communities and country “100%”, and its no longer “pure political” fights instead over institutions structure of an indian states which has been captured by organizations. In which Congress is fighting to regain India, it’s “ideological battle” he added.
