Sena MLA Ramesh Latke passed away due to cardiac arrest in Dubai
Ramesh Latke, who was the Shiv Sena MLA from Mumbai, died of a cardiac arrest in Dubai, a party functionary said today. He was on vacation with his family in Dubai.
At the age of 52 Shiv Sane MLA has passed away late last night, “Ramesh Latke died late night on Wednesday in Dubai, where he had gone with his family on a vacation,” the functionary told Press of India.
Reportedly, his body will be brought back to Mumbai today for the ritual.
Ramesh was a two-time Sena legislator from the Andheri East assembly constituency in Mumbai. Before he became an MLA, Latke was a corporation in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation or BMC as well.
“We have informed Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and other senior party leaders about initiating the procedure to bring back his body. We hope that the body would be brought back on Thursday,” the Sena functionary informed.
